Dr. Stella Despoudi

Dr. Stella Despoudi is a Lecturer in Operations and Supply Chain Management at the Coventry Business School at Coventry University since June 2015 and newly appointed as Associate Course Director of the MSc International Business Management. Prior to this Stella has been workng for the American Farm School in Greece in collaboration with Cardiff Metropolitan University and for Loughborough University. She holds a PhD in Operations and Supply Chain Management from Loughborough University’s School of Business and Economics.

Her research expertise lies in the following research areas: food supply chain management, supply chain resilience, severe weather events and climatic changes, emergency logistics, food waste and food sustainability, resource efficiency. Currently she works on a multi-partner project about UK’s food supply chain resilience, climatic changes, and severe weather events. ​
